While keep painting there, he spent his days interacting with artists and appreciating a bunch of artworks in museums & galleries.

Interested in the ambiguous realms that exist within phenomena,

Shuta Miyauchi aims to visualize a non-verbal, flesh-and-blood sensation mainly based on his feelings toward these realms.

And he keeps considering the relationship that exists between

"self (inside) and others (outside)," two opposing yet mutually intermingling stuff.

-Artist's Statement

I often choose people as motifs for now. while interpreting various aspects of human beings, and moving back and forth between the infinite gradations of concrete and abstract, I pursue the absolute beauty that lies within.

Non-verbal expression especially painting has been with me since childhood, and the primal strength inherent in it has always drawn me in. Hence entrusting my emotions to the canvas just as it is holds the essence in my creative process. With this idea, while enriching and expanding my soil through the study of technique and the repetition of thoughts and interpretations,I push myself forward to achieve refined expressions.
